“People, I have discovered, are layers and layers of secrets. You believe you know them, that you understand them, but their motives are always hidden from you, buried in their own hearts. You will never know them, but sometimes you decide to trust them.”
school has been.......... meh. It's the same thing everyday - waking up at 6:15am, trudging to the toilet, drinking my milo and heading out for school. Over there, it's lessons, lessons, more lessons, recess, lessons, lessons, lessons. Hardly had anytime for myself but at least I managed to set aside some time to finish Insurgent!! I finished Divergent in a day during the holidays, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Likewise, Insurgent was equally thrilling (if not more) and the Divergent series is definitely one of my top favourites now :) can't wait for the last book to come out this October, and for the movie to be released in 2014, it's going to be great, I know it!
Satisfied my pizza cravings on Sunday!!!!
The week didn't start off very well because my eye was swollen and it hurt like hell so I couldn't open it for a while on Tuesday. This isn't the first time it has happened but at least it took a shorter time to recover as compared to the previous time :)
I can't really remember what I did over the week but Marcus and I went to NEX on one of the days to get bbt and bread from the jap bakery upstairs! They have really good bread and most of 'em are really cute and worth the money! Walked around a bit, then took the bus home. I love days like these - taking 158 all the way to Serangoon and then taking the bus home. Although the journey is longer than taking the train, I like the time spent talking to Kennedy/ Marcus/ Clarence!
Today was another significant day because it was spent with a bunch of my favourite people! Learning not to take these last few days for granted cuz handover's approaching and when the time comes.... I know I'll miss all these moments. Met up in the morning so my day started on a good note, and we had practice for a while after school before all of us just played/ fooled around/ doing what we do best :) Seeing them is probably what keeps me going through school and boring lessons every Monday and Friday, and it'll be hard getting used to change.
After practice, the year 4s gathered at the canteen before we made our way to the parade sq to sit and talk. It was one of the last times we were doing this so today's meeting definitely meant more than it usually would. Talked till about 7:30 and some really nice guzheng seniors approached us to ask if we wanted to help them finish some food from their buffet :) We were all starving & the food was really good, especially the dessert! (we kept going back for more) That was our dinner, and we slacked around before leaving at about 9.
anyway, i'm reaaaallly sleepy right now (which is what i'm saying 90% of the time in school) so i guess i'll blog again before school reopens on Tuesday. Yay for the Youth Day holiday! This weekend's going to be a blast :)
