YEP/ Family

i've been thinking of moving to wordpress for quite some time now because of the option of protecting selected posts but the idea of having to start afresh makes me pretty hesitant about it, oh welll.

4pm view :)

YEP 2013 (d'reminisce) - most pictures are from Marcus's album on fb ☺☺

I had such a great time that night and it was reeeaaaallly amazing - the atmosphere, the house music, the people, the candy section (which made me so so so happy), the photo section and basically everything! Huge thanks to the YEP comm who made it possible :))

earlier that day, i headed off to meet yongzi to go to town to get her dress but we didn't manage to find anything so we ended up being waaay earlier than we had planned. Went to her house where we got ready and lazed around :)

and here's something super embarrassing that happened - we originally thought there wasn't anyone at home because her family was out, UNTIL I heard the door click open while drying my hair with the hairdryer which blocked out most of the sound. So I turned around and to my astonishment, I saw 3 shocked faces looking at me LOL

it was sooooo awkward i felt like melting into a huge puddle of slob

but anyway, her mum gave us a ride to school (thank you auntie!) so we didn't have to rush, especially after that slowpoke took such a long time to get ready heh

and now i'll just let the pictures do the talking :)

my favourite part was the last part where everyone's inner clubbing skills were unleashed hehe. I never knew dunmanians were such party animals until everyone started jumping/ dancing/ shouting the lyrics to the songs that were played. Yifeng and I were saying how I always complained each time we had to do jumping jacks but for that day i barely even stopped hehehe

fantastic night with fantastic people and i'd love to relive the moment again :)

monopoly with my bros are always filled with so much fun bc we never ever play according to the rules and we know each other's moves really well so it ends up becoming a "who can stop the winner" game ヾ(❛ε❛“)ʃ

travelled to the west of Sg yesterday to celebrate my great grandmother's 90th birthday :) we don't always go back unless it's CNY or her birthday so we really treasure the times we get to see her. Her flat is realllly tiny so it was really squeezy because there were so so so many people but I enjoyed myself because there was soooo much food and CUPCAKES!!! (and babies)

I originally thought there were 3 boxes of cupcakes but I found out that there were 7 and i guess i'll leave you to imagine how happy i was hehe

and i think i've mentioned this before but i really love family gatherings especially the ones when everyone comes together and the whole house is filled with laughter :) it just serves as a reminder that there's more to life than academics and grades and subject combinations etc :)

alright bye!
