Was flipping through my ELL notebook from last year and saw the word "bone-house" (pronounced "bahn-hoos") written on the last page. Remembered scribbling it down in class one afternoon when Mr Tan was showing us a video on language change.
In Old English, "bone-house" was used to describe the human body. I remember thinking back then how nice it would be if we saw our bodies as houses/ homes instead. Then maybe we wouldn't keep trying to knock them down as we do.
