nirvana: October

Hello! it's been agessss since i've managed to spend a Friday night like this and I'm really thankful! I've missed this feeling :) EOYs are finally over but the odd thing is that it still doesn't feel like October, much less the fact that 2013 is coming to an end. Nonetheless, yay!!!!! Feels so great to do what I do best - doing nothing and yet enjoying myself

managed to clear loads of pictures from my phone so here gooooessss

this was taken on Yixian's birthday/ Mid autumn festival! Yifeng, Yvonnemoh, Xuanzhu, Jiahui and I went to vivo a few days before his birthday to get the materials for his present and all credit goes to yifeng who put the final product together! haha we were going on about how awkward it was for him to stick the shells onto the doll but yixian's reaction when he saw the doll was priceless HAHA

FOOOOOOD!!! (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

1. cookies from jamie which my brothers finished and still had the cheek to ask "eh who's been eating the cookies ah?"

2. energy/ confidence boosters from mrs phua (whom i've failed for chem yet again sigh)

3. SOGURTTTT. That was the last time I ever saw my sogurt card which was one stamp away from the $4 mark :( went back to sogurt a few days after to ask them if they found it by any chance but nope :( thank you to hinwing who very kindly gave me his tho!!! guess i'm gnna have to start all over again but IT'S OK - slow and steady wins the race!! (this was the first thing that came to my mind haha)

Headed to the airport one fine evening to have dinner with my family before meeting kennedy and marcus for our overnight study session! It was after the LA paper and I really enjoyed myself because we didn't manage to hang out or talk for quite some time so this gave me the chance to blabber about life and it was a productive session ^-^ The airport is one of my favourite places to be at and it was really empty in the wee hours of the morning which made me feel like I was one of the zombies in warm bodies!

at about 3.45am I decided to walk around because I was getting so restless sitting at the same spot but people were either sleeping or walking around aimlessly haha and there were some people who were sleeping on the floor + the empty counters made me feel like i was in a zombie apocalypse or smth! marcus and I did an instavid about it because the whole place was so silent and empty and the roads only had one or 2 vehicles but it couldn't load and disappeared from the face of the earth :(

studied until about 7am and then headed to the viewing gallery to watch the planes :) this is marcus' favourite part of the airport and everytime we go there he gives us a lesson on the parts of a plane/ which plane is arriving etc haha #lessonswithmrang

and he mimicked the different stewardesses for different airlines which made me laugh like mad HAHA

so they folded paper airplanes before we finally left for breakfast & all in all it was a really productive and fun day which left me feeling like jiewgviwbjBJBG CRAP because I was too tired to walk up the hill to my house from the bus stop

with my faaaaamilyyy :)

random bits of school and one picture of tonight's moon which i thought was exceptionally round and bright :) turned out kinda blurry because i stopped to take the picture and then i think i scared myself by thinking of weird stuff so I immediately ran home after that HAHA

Went to J8 with Xuanzhu last Friday after the bio paper to reward ourselves for surviving the week and we decided to have lunch at a really good jap restaurant which serves really good food that isn't too expensive1 the baked rice was SO GOOD and honestly one of the best i've ever tasted! (but you can't really trust what i say because almost everything tastes good to me heh) oh but the lady there was really weird because she kept looking at us and it was rather awkward and uncomfortable /: luckily the waiter was really friendly and nice and helpful! oh and when we were going to pay for the food we realized we didn't have enough bc we forget about GST HAHAHA it was so embarrassing cuz we stood there and I was broke and XZ was left with a few cents thank goodness the few cents that XZ was left with was enough HAHA. Note to self: please check that you have enough "S eleven" with you

then we trained back to serangoon where i met my aunts and mum and I had a pretty good evening after that :)

today after the chem paper Yongzi, Kennedy, Clarence and I waited for Marcus before heading to cine for eighteen chefs which made me VERY happy because i've been craving the cheese baked rice there so badly! one of the worst things about eastpoint shutting down is the fact that eighteen chefs isn't as convenient to go to as before :(

bussed there and I think we talked too loudly but ah well ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭

we walked around somerset area aimlessly until about 6pm before taking the train home and met a lot of dunmanians along the way! To quote Marcus, "It's as if the school moved to Orchard or something" haha! Oh and thanks to bieberzxc we took the train from orchard -> bishan -> paya lebar -> pasir ris because she said it would be less squeezy HAHA (she was wroooooong)

and marcus did a good job of reciting the names of the stations in chinese :)

Things that make school much more bearable :') Not that I hate going to school, I just hate the idea of waking up early and sitting through lessons while forcing myself to stay awake. It always ends up failing no matter how many times I pinch myself or scribble stuff like "STAY AWAKE CHIYIN DON'T YOU DARE SLEEP" -> i came across this many times in my notes while revising
