"do you still miss him?", he asked.
"dunno", she shrugged, turning her eyes to the pavement to avoid his gaze.
"it's been months, you've changed, it's like he's taken a piece of you with him. C'mon we all know something's wrong." He said it softly but loud enough for her to hear.
"I'm

He sighed, just like how everyone else did when she answered them in the same flat tone. He didn't understand how to save a girl who was hopelessly broken, how to piece her back together, how to make her whole again.
Hell, he didn't even understand her.
