here are some of the better things that has made me thankful for making past each day
My popo, Rui en, Alicia, Jerald, aunt and uncle dropped by some time in February and they ended up staying over for dinner which was prepared by my popo :) I love it when my cousins come together even if it's just a few of us because they always make me so so so happy inside idk it kinda takes away all the troubles for a while (gosh so cheesy!!!! haha)
met up with marcus on one of the days to head to nex and we ended up having a really good time, prolly cos I didn't manage to talk to him for quite some time with all his commitments and the difference in timetables. Really thankful for that day tho!!! :)
Clarke quay to watch "Made in Singapore" with TA :) had to run along clarke quay bc we were almost late (AND TRUST ME running along clarke quay is not fun especially with a stomach full from Just Acia's ice cream and dory) On a side note, it was really hilarious because while running along clarke quay i bumped into darius and it was really unexpected because one moment i was running and the next minute someone was grabbing my arm and going "Omg chiyin!!! are you going to watch the play???? can we follow you??" HAHA
I had lots of fun that day, even if it meant having to wake up at 6 the next morning for ELL talk @ NUS ~.~
met my favourite girl again @ nex on one of the fridays after school - i think this is becoming a habit but I like it anyway *u*
first time cracking an egg without the egg yolk bursting or the egg white having any sign of egg shells!!!!! whoop whoop 20 points to chiyin
we were involved in a coke commercial HAHA super cool experience cos one moment we were just having our ice cream and the next minute a few people stood up and started doing the glass thingy/ making music with the cups and I know I sound super incoherent now but it's because I just remembered I have tons of holiday homework undone!!!!
ok but back to the topic, that was a stepping stone to pl2x's stardom ;-)
marina barrage with my favourite fantastic 4!!!! hehe I had a great day with them even tho I woke up super late and ended up meeting them 2 hours after the planned time LOL
and the most ironic thing was that I was the one who planned what time to meet etcetc :( got sunburnt but I had a really amazing time :')
my mum and bro went off to japan so it was just my bro and dad at home with aunty alma :) headed out for dinner after i got home from marina barrage and idk I felt super happy by the end of the day. Guess it's these little things that matter at the end of the day.
aaaand I met up with this girl yesterday in town to watch Divergent (which is one of my favourite books) kinda sad because (ok I'm prolly gnna sound super selfish but....) Divergent is probably going to end up "mainstream" because everyone's going to end up watching or reading it which makes me really sort of like "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" hahahaha sIGH life is tough
but yep I had a great day again and it's amazing how she makes me feel so happy inside. Don't know if it's because she's my cousin and we've always been so close, but I'm pretty sure she's the sister I never had. Alright, will prolly update this again because omg time to do my last minute work UGH bye!
